Turó d’en Mota 2006 has received an honourable mention as one of the best sparkling wines of 2019 in the ElMundoVino awards.

“The Elmundovino awards now have a quarter of a century of history, and the 2019 edition once again recognises the wines that best represent our terroirs and traditions, including many from sometimes forgotten winegrowing areas that have re-emerged, extending the country’s map of excellence and authenticity.

Rather than picking a ‘wine of the year’ based on a ranking by points, the awards seek to highlight outstanding qualities, from elegance to tradition, including the recovery of less common or endangered varieties and abandoned or forgotten winegrowing areas from which quality wines or wines that offer good value for money are once again emerging”.
